This lassi, which is sold for Rs 100, is known by the name of cupboard rope. As can be seen just by looking at the shop. For hundred years, Lassi is available in cupboard-like shops, which remains the first choice of customers.
Shopkeeper Inderjit Yadav told that his father Virendra Kumar Yadav started tea and paan in this shop 100 years ago. But, after a few years, father started Lassi, which became quite famous. Lassi shop has been famous among the people for years. This is because we use fresh and pure curd. Kewra, ice and Rooh add flavor to Lassi. Earlier, lassi was whipped in a pot by hand. But, now lassi is prepared using an electric machine.
Rate reached Rs 5 to 45 in 100 years
100 years ago when the Yadav family started a Lassi shop. Then its price was Rs 5. But, due to inflation, now the price of one Kulhad Lassi is Rs 45. People come from far and wide to taste the famous Lassi of Agra Raja Mandi. Many people have come from Delhi to drink Lassi after watching the video on the internet.
