The wit and knowledge of students was put to test at the first edition of 180 Research Conference at Delhi University’s Shri Ram College of Commerce. The final round of 180 Research Convention was organized by the college on Monday.
Keeping the research as the core, the intelligence of the students was tested. Amar Ujala played the role of media partner in the programme. During this, competitions based on R-Ked and Hypothesis were organized. The aim of the conference was to dispel all the myths surrounding the topic of research and look at it from a new perspective. More than 1500 students participated in the conference. Eight teams were selected for the final round held on Monday.
R-Kade was a real time beading competition with a policy based theme, while Envision was a research competition. For this the students were given the Inheritance Tax theme. In this, the teams presented their research topic in front of expert judges in their respective fields with their intelligence and knowledge.
The judges who judged the research and intelligence of the students included Vijay Kumar Sharotia, Senior Professor of Commerce, DU’s Delhi School of Economics, Researcher Yukti Bajaj, Shobhana Jha and Shaurya Mukherjee, Research Scholar of Economics, IIT Delhi.
