For the last five years, Nitin has been selling samosas for ₹ 2. Whereas before this he used to sell samosas for just ₹ 1. Not only this, in the beginning, he used to sell one samosa for just 50 paise. Gradually, with inflation, he had to increase the price of his samosas. But till now the size and taste of his samosas is the same as before. Even today, Nitin sells more than 4000 samosas in a day.

The chutney has a special taste
Customers say that they have been coming to Nitin’s place to eat samosas for the past several years. The delicious sour chutney served with samosas here is not available anywhere else in the city. This chutney enhances the taste of samosas even more. Even in this era of inflation, Nitin has been serving samosas for just ₹2 for the past 5 years and till now there has been no change in the taste of his samosas and chutney. Whereas the quality of everything changes in so many years.

In an exclusive interview with Local 18, the shop owner Nitin told that he has been running this shop for the last 70 years and the smallest samosa available in Bareilly is available here. Earlier, this samosa used to cost one rupee and initially it used to cost 50 paise. This shop was started by his father. We are still selling these samosas at such low prices because our aim is not to earn money but to get people’s love. And our household expenses are also met quite well from this shop.
