As soon as he withdrew from the Mahagathbandhan in Bihar, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar dissolved the 20-point program implementation committee. Apart from JDU, leaders and workers of RJD, Congress and Left parties were given place in this committee. After withdrawing from the Mahagathbandhan, NDA government was formed in Bihar and once again Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has announced a new team for the 20-point program implementation committee.
In this committee, the district in-charge minister has been given the responsibility of the president. At the same time, the local NDA alliance leaders have been given the opportunity as vice president and member. Leaders and workers of JDU, BJP, LJP, Rashtriya Lok Morcha and HAM have been given place in this.
In Nalanda, district in-charge minister Vijay Kumar Chaudhary has been made president, while JDU district president Mohd. Masroor Ahmed Zubairi alias Arshad and BJP district president Ravi Shankar Prasad have been made vice-presidents. Mohd. Nadeem Zafar alias Gulrez Ansari, Naveen Manjhi, Manorama Devi, Bharat Sharma, Dhananjay Dev, Reena Kumari, Saryug Ravidas, Janardan Pandit, Dharmendra Prasad Chauhan, Ranjeet Kumar, Reena Kumari, Shailendra Kumar, Avinash Prasad Singh, Ramsagar Singh, Vikas Kumar, Pragya Bharti, Santosh Bharti, Mahendra Singh Yadav, Laljit Paswan, Vishwajeet Paswan, Sonu Kushwaha and Satyendra Paswan alias Mukut have been made members.
The members of the 20-point committee at the district and block level not only monitor each scheme but also get the schemes selected as per the needs of the people. Nowadays, the Mukhiya and Block Pramukh do this work at their own level in the Panchayat. Apart from this, MPs and MLAs also select schemes at their own level. After the formation of the 20-point committee, no one has a monopoly.
