This time 257 prisoners will appear for the UP Board exams. They are lodged in jails of eight districts of the state. For these, examination centers have been set up in the jails themselves. There are 118 prisoners registered in class 10th and 139 inmates in class 12th. The Jail Superintendent will be the center administrator. UP Board is making separate preparations for the prisoners.

Maximum 69 prisoners will appear in the high school and intermediate board exams from Ghaziabad jail. In this, the number of prisoners appearing in 10th class examination is 27 and 12th class examination is 42. One female prisoner and 41 male prisoners will appear for the intermediate examination. Apart from this, a total of 51 prisoners from District Jail Firozabad will appear for the examination. There are 20 in 10th and 31 in 12th.

Similarly, from Central Jail Bareilly, 26 prisoners in class 10th and 16 prisoners in class 12th will appear for the examination. 27 prisoners from Adarsh ​​Jail Lucknow will appear for 10th examination. This includes 24 male and three female candidates. From Central Jail Fatehgarh, Farrukhabad, 10 candidates in class 10th and 13 in class 12th i.e., a total of 23 candidates will appear in the board examination. Three candidates will appear for the board exam from District Jail Banda. This includes one candidate in class 10th and two candidates in class 12th. Similarly, six prisoners from District Jail Gorakhpur and nine from Central Jail Varanasi will appear in the board examination.
