Tajganj police is searching for clues in the case of acid attack on a BA student in Agra 26 years ago. On Friday Dr. Police team reached Bhimrao Ambedkar University. Collected information about the documents related to the student’s studies in college. Inquiries are being made about those who studied with him.

The case was registered in January 2023. The victim lives on rent in Tajganj area. In the year 1997, Moti lived in Katra. Was a BA student. While returning from coaching, there was an acid attack between Agra College and Moti Katra. No action was taken. The victim is associated with an organization. The then Police Commissioner Dr. Had told his pain to Preetinder Singh. A case was registered on this in Tajganj police station.

Police station in-charge Jasveer Singh said that the victim does not remember the day and date of the incident. He has just mentioned the year. Apart from this, it is not even known who the accused was? Why was acid thrown? On the basis of the place of incident described by the victim, the records of Lohamandi and MM Gate police stations were checked. But, no such incident was recorded. Information was collected from people living near the incident site, shopkeepers and street vendors. But, no one is able to tell about the incident.

The victim was a student of Agra College. A team had gone to the university. An attempt was made to find out who all were studying with the student at that time. If their records are found then the police will talk. If the name of the accused is known, action will be taken.
