Researchers at Brigham and Women’s Hospital have recently done a research. In this research, 3,275 youths of Murcia, Spain have been included. It was found in this research that the sleep in the middle of the day is not the same. The length of time, sleeping position and many other factors also affect the health. Researchers have found that UK people who sleep during the day are at risk of obesity.
Damages of sleeping
Researchers also tried to know whether the same risk remains in countries like Spain. Does taking a short nap during the day harm the health? In his research, he found that those who sleep more than 30 minutes a day have a higher risk of diseases like high body mass index, high blood pressure and heart attack ie heart disease and diabetes than those who do not sleep during the day.
Do power naps cause obesity
Afternoon Nap has not been found to cause obesity problems or metabolic changes. Short sleepers were less likely to increase blood pressure than those who didn’t sleep at all. Accordingly, there is still a need for more research on the benefits of taking short naps during the day. It has been found in this study that how much you sleep during the day is very important. By sleeping for a while during the day, you can recharge and your productivity can be good. Health is also good by this.
