Indian Studenets In USA: There has been a huge decline in the number of Indian students studying in American colleges and institutions. Actually this decline has increased after the Covid epidemic. According to the US State Department, there has been a 38 percent decline in F-1 student visas issued to Indians in the first 9 months of 2024 as compared to these days last year. F-1 visas issued to Indian students have reached their lowest level since the pandemic. Now the question is, what are the reasons behind the decline in issuance of F-1 visas?

It is believed that apart from the problems faced by the students, long waiting times and visa related worries of the students are responsible. Vibha Kaggi, CEO of ReachIV.com, says that America is still the favorite destination for students, but most of the students are turning to countries like Canada, UK and Germany to keep the options open. However, you will be surprised to know that this decline is not limited to Indian students only. Apart from India, there has been a decline in students from other countries.
