Hathras Depot is preparing a new route chart on Holi to provide convenience to the passengers. Under which, preparations are being made to run about 40 buses on the Delhi route which is considered the busiest. On normal days, seven buses are operated by the depot on this route.

Thousands of people from Delhi reach Hathras and nearby places to celebrate Holi with family. A few days before the festival, the number of passengers starts increasing on this route. Hathras depot has also geared up regarding this. Hathras depot is preparing to run more than 40 buses from Delhi to Hathras, Aligarh etc.

Efforts will be made to get this proposal approved in the meeting to be held with the Regional Manager in Aligarh on March 19. Buses running on their scheduled routes at night will be made to make additional trips to Delhi during the day. According to the information, the number of buses for Delhi will be increased between March 22 and April 3.

There will be movement of more than five thousand passengers

More than five thousand passengers will get relief from the buses run from Hathras depot to Delhi. If we look at the figures of the past years, on an average 60 passengers travel in 40 buses. In this way, about 2600 passengers travel in 40 buses. If seen from both sides, this figure will reach more than five thousand passengers in 10 days.

To provide relief to passengers on Holi, the number of buses will increase mainly on Delhi routes. About 40 additional trips will be made to Delhi. Soon the new routes and number of buses for Delhi will be decided. -Veeri Singh, station in-charge, Hathras depot.
