Five years ago a city was called a ghost town. Very few people used to come here. In terms of tourists, Denton in Manchester, UK was such a railway station that the total number of people coming here in a year was only 49. But today it is a tourist hotspot. There are fancy restaurants here. There are beautiful natural views. What happened after all? How has this become so far-fetched? This is also an interesting story in itself.
In 2021, local restaurateur Yusup Cheyan owned several different types of food outlets. He told how Denton’s transformation happened so fast. Yusuf told that he first saw the possibilities here and started with a tapas restaurant. After this people started coming here from nearby areas. Gradually the difference started appearing here and everything changed in five years.
In these five years, Yusuf has opened three restaurants. But not only these restaurants have played a role in the popularity of this place, there are other attractions too, including some night spots. The Houghton Dale Nature Reserve here also attracts a lot of people and here too beer and food is good.

Houghton Dale Nature Reserve is a place where you can get very close to nature. People often come here for walking, cycling or horse riding. People now come from far away places to see the forest canal here. Apart from this, there are now many attractions for families including Fab Fun Kids Karting.
After the rejuvenation of this area, Denton has started getting good ratings on many UK travel sites. Earlier people did not get any kind of facilities here. Today people praise the food here a lot. Apart from this, there is also St. Lawrence Church whose black and white teak frame is especially liked by the people. It is one of 29 oldest chapels in the UK that are still in operation. It was built in 1531. Now people do not shy away from coming here because now tourists also get other necessary things here.
