Candidates will meet Chief Minister Yogi on September 7
On Thursday, Panchayati Raj Minister Om Prakash Rajbharâs residence was gheraoed. The candidates were demanding that the High Courtâs decision be followed and appointment be given. Minister Om Prakash Rajbhar met the protesting candidates. He heard the problems of the candidates and took a memorandum. Rajbhar assured that he will arrange a meeting of the candidatesâ delegation with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on September 7. This matter will be resolved soon. He also asked for the names of five candidates to meet the CM.
Amarendra Patel, who was leading the protest, said that the candidates have been roaming on the streets for four years. Now that the courtâs decision has come, it is not being followed. The court has cancelled the original selection list of the recruitment and ordered the government to issue a new list in three months following the reservation rules, but the government has not started any work till now. This has caused resentment among the candidates.
