New Delhi: The film ‘695’, which released in theaters a few days before the inauguration of Ayodhya Ram temple and the consecration ceremony of Ram Lalla, has tried to tell the history of Ram Janmabhoomi, for which Hindus had fought hard for the last 500 years, although the film It tells the story between two major dates in the history of the struggle for Ram Janmabhoomi. The first date is 6 December 1992, the day Babri Masjid was demolished. The second important date is 5 August 2020, when the foundation stone of Ram Mandir was laid. At the beginning of the film, the period of 1528 is shown when the Mughal emperor demolishes the temple of Lord Ram and builds a mosque there.

The struggle of Hindus for Ram temple is shown in the film.
The film depicts the struggle of Raghavdas and his disciples who try to resolve the dispute of temple and mosque by discussing with the Muslim community, to which the Muslim community does not agree. A miraculous incident happens inside the mosque in the year 1949. The idol of Lord Ram suddenly appears at the disputed place, after which the place is declared a temple and locked. After this, the court pronounces its verdict on Ram Janmabhoomi. Raghavdas goes to heaven while fighting for the Ram temple, after which his disciple Raghunandan Das sets out on a journey to fulfill his dream. The film further shows all the events that happened after the year 1949, in which the pause is seen after the court’s decision of 9 November 2019.

The acting of the actors is fantastic
The first interval of the film ‘695’ is tight, which keeps the audience engaged, whereas there is a bit of disintegration in the second interval. Apart from the acting of the actors in the film, their dialogues impress the audience. Music also touches the heart. Arun Govil has done a brilliant job in the role of Guru Raghavdas. He makes the audience emotional in some scenes. Ashok Samarth supported him well in the role of Raghunandan Das. Manoj Joshi won hearts with his short performance in the climax. KK Raina has played the role of Lal Krishna Advani very skillfully, although all the actors seen in the roles of other leaders did not look as effective as KK Raina.
