75th Republic Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm in Aligarh. Basic Education Minister Sandeep Singh took the salute in the police line. Commissioner Ravindra hoisted the flag at the Commissionerate, DM Indra Vikram Singh at the Collectorate and CDO Akanksha Rana hoisted the flag at Vikas Bhawan. The wind of patriotism blew with the flag hoisting. Students presented programs full of patriotism.
Basic Education Minister Sandeep Singh took the salute in the police line. He honored the families of the martyrs by covering them with body clothes. Police officers and police personnel who performed excellently were also honoured. The ODC dance by the little girl of DPS which depicted the beauty and pride of India enthralled everyone. The students of MMG High School presented Rangeela Mharo Dholna and the children of Chacha Nehru Vidyalaya presented programmes.
Basic Education Minister Sandeep Singh said that the Republic of India was formed on this day. Republic Day holds an important place in our democracy. This is the day when we decided to control our destiny and took the responsibility of the development of our country on our shoulders. The journey that our country has traveled as the mother of democracy is unprecedented. He said that if the Prime Minister of a country says that he is a servant and not the ruler of the country, then it shows how the republic of that country will be.
