Expansion

BJP government at the Center has completed nine years. On this occasion, the party has started a campaign to take the work of the government to the public by holding press conferences in all the states of the country. In this sequence, the Delhi BJP has said that Delhi has got a huge advantage of having Narendra Modi’s government at the center. Efforts have been made to give a new identity to Delhi by building Duty Path, Pragati Maidan, National War Memorial and Eco-Bharat Vandana Park, while initiatives have been taken to make it clean by starting electricity generation from garbage. While the Aam Aadmi Party claims that the BJP is taking credit for its actions, the Congress taunts that the BJP and the Aam Aadmi Party have together given Delhi anarchy.

what did the center give to delhi

In the midst of the power struggle between BJP and AAP in Delhi, the central government has taken many such steps, due to which Delhi has got a lot of benefits. Efforts have been made to save Delhi from vehicular congestion and pollution through the Eastern-Western Peripheral Roads built with a budget of Rs 12,000 crore. Pragati Maidan Tunnel (Rs 928 crore) has been tried to reduce the pressure of vehicles around Lutyen’s Delhi and India Gate. Rapid Rail (Rs 30270 crore) will help in reducing the pressure of population in Delhi.

Eco and Bharat Vandana Park

After the construction of ‘Eco Park’ on 884 acres with a budget of Rs 343 crore, the people of Delhi will be able to get a fun-zone like international level cities in Delhi. It is claimed that the Fun Zone of this kind of international facility is nowhere else in the country, let alone Delhi. This is likely to give a new height to the tourism of Delhi, which will increase employment opportunities here. Apart from this, Bharat Vandana Park being built in Dwarka on 200 acres will also emerge as a new center of tourism.

houses for the poor

The central government has made 3000 flats for the poor in Delhi and handed over the keys to them and such families are now leaving the slums and living in a better environment. A few thousand similar flats are still under construction. This will help in improving the image of Delhi. Many similar works have been done by the Central Government for which credit can be given to it.
