On the occasion of 78th Independence Day, Deputy CM Vijay Kumar Sinha hoisted the tricolor flag at Shaheed Khudiram Bose Stadium. Deputy CM reached Muzaffarpur as the minister in charge. After this, he hoisted the flag at 9 am. Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha has given hearty congratulations and best wishes to the people of the district and appealed to celebrate Independence Day with enthusiasm. 100 police officers and 200 policemen were deputed

He said that working on crime control in the district is the government’s top priority. There are a total of seven police sub-divisions and 47 police stations working in Muzaffarpur district. In the last one year, 18630 ​​criminals have been arrested. Work has also been done to curb various kinds of crime here and today this year a total of 75 vehicles have been provided to Dial 112 in the district by the Police Headquarters. In this 50 four-wheelers and 25 bikes are working in all the police stations across the district; a total of 100 police officers and 200 policemen have been deputed. We are working on a plan to reduce the response time, so that information and assistance can be provided in the shortest possible time; at present the response time is 10 minutes 55 seconds.
