A sudden fire broke out in the wheel of Down Bihar Sampark Kranti Express (12566) going from New Delhi to Darbhanga at around 11 am on Tuesday. Seeing the incident, a crowd of local people gathered on the Muzaffarpur-Samastipur railway section after seeing the fire in the wheel. The train stopped due to the noise of the passengers. The train was stopped at Gumti number 73 for about 15 minutes. After this the fire in the wheel was extinguished. The train was moved ahead after the fire was brought under control.
Spark after opening from Pusa, smoke in bogie
According to the information, the Bihar Sampark Kranti Express train going from New Delhi to Darbhanga was open from Pusa station. When it moved forward, sparks started coming out of its wheel. Due to this smoke started filling in the bogie. Passengers started making noise on this. There was a fire in the front wheels of the three bogies of the guard cabin. When the gateman saw the flame of fire at number 72 gumti of the station, he informed the station master. After this the train was stopped at Gumti number 73.
Passengers left the bogie, the train started when it was fine
The wheel fire was extinguished in the presence of RPF and station personnel who arrived on the information of the incident. During this, there was chaos on the spot. The passengers got down from the bogie. It is being told that the spark came out due to sticking of the brake flywheel. He was rectified and then sent ahead.
