According to the information received, while crossing the Falgu river in Haridaspur village of Bodhgaya police station area of Gaya district, two old men started drowning in the water. As soon as the villagers saw both the old men, they jumped into the river. At the same time, an old man Baleshwar Yadav is still missing. Somehow the villagers saved Durga Chaudhary. The villagers searched a lot in the Falgu river but the missing old man could not be found.

On Friday morning, the SDRF team reached the spot and started the search operation. The villagers have made a video of saving an old man, which is going viral on social media. In this regard, villager Yogendra Yadav said that he was crossing the Falgu river to buy vegetables in Laru market. Then suddenly the water level in the river increased and due to the strong current, he got stuck in a pit in the river. He said that before the rains, illegal sand mafias have created many pits of more than 40 feet in the river due to illegal mining. Now water has come in the Falgu river. In such a situation, such incidents are happening.

However, villager Abhishek Kumar said that seeing the villagers drowning in the river, they jumped to save them. One was somehow saved. But the other is still missing. The SDRF team is engaged in the search. Sand mafias have been accused of illegal mining and creating the pit. It is said that the only way to go to the market is by crossing the river. The other way will have to be covered by covering a distance of several kilometers. That is why people cross the river to go to the market.
