The Bihar government is running the Horticulture Cluster Development Scheme, under this scheme, the Bihar government is giving subsidy to farmers for planting guava, amla, lemon vine, papaya, marigold flowers and lemon grass plants and trees.

Under this scheme, the government will give subsidy for doing horticulture on more than 25 acres in the village, to take advantage of this scheme, farmers have to apply by visiting the official website. Bihar Government Horticulture Directorate also gave information about this scheme on its social media platform X. In this post, it was told that under the Horticulture Cluster Scheme, farmers growing horticultural crops on more than 25 acres in the village will be given assistance of Rs 1 lakh per acre. This will increase income, improve farming and promote new methods of agriculture.

The aim of this scheme is to increase the income of farmers and promote flower cultivation. Actually, marigold plants come to Bihar from Kolkata, which increases their cost. On this, the Bihar government is now preparing to form groups of farmers and send them to Kolkata for plant production training. It is also suggesting that they should cultivate flowers using poly houses so that the supply of flowers can increase.
