Potato Kadhi recipe: There is a tradition of eating fruits during fasting. In such a situation, many people fast for nine days on the festival of Navratri going on these days. The name of this curry is Aloo ki Kadhi. As the name suggests, potatoes are mainly used to make it. Potato is the only vegetable that a person can eat comfortably in every kind of fast. To make Aloo ki Kadhi, you need boiled potatoes, buckwheat and curd. Which is served with Samak rice. Let’s know about its recipe.

Ingredients for Potato Kadhi
80 gms potatoes (cut into pieces)

20 gms buckwheat flour

150 gms curd

3 gms fenugreek seeds

3 gms cumin seeds

3 grams turmeric

5 gms green chillies, chopped

2 gms red chilli powder

5 gms coriander, chopped

3 gms rock salt

50 ml oil

100 gms samak rice

How to make Aloo ki Kadhi?
1.Add curd, turmeric, buckwheat flour, rock salt in a bowl. Then pour the mixture into the pan and cook on medium flame for 10 minutes.

2. Add chopped potatoes into it and cook until the potatoes are cooked.

3. Heat oil in another pan, add fenugreek seeds, cumin seeds, red chilli, green chilli and then pour the tadka over the curry and mix well.

4. Transfer to a serving bowl and garnish with chopped coriander leaves and red chillies.
