A female Kanwaria died of suffocation during Jalabhishek on the last Monday of Sawan at Thaneshwar Sthan temple in Samastipur city. The deceased has not been identified yet. It is being told that she fell unconscious due to suffocation due to excessive crowd in the temple premises. After that, some Kanwaria brought her to Sadar Hospital and left her there. Where the doctors declared her dead.
According to the information, on the last Monday of Sawan, a large number of people gather at the Thaneshwar Sthan temple in the city for Jalabhishek. Here the devotees take Ganga water from Jhamatiya Ganga Ghat in Begusarai and travel about 40 kilometers on foot to reach Samastipur.
It is being told that the said female Kanwaria also reached Samastipur on foot after collecting water from Jhamatia and entered the temple premises for Jalabhishek in the early morning. But due to excessive crowd, she started suffocating and fell unconscious. After that she was taken to Sadar Hospital by fellow Kanwarias. However, the Kanwaria left after taking her to Sadar Hospital. Doctors found the woman dead in the examination. On the other hand, the Sadar Hospital administration has informed the city police about the death of the female Kanwaria.
