Karnataka Congress leader Ivan DSouza gave warning to Governor Thawar Chand Gehlot said he will see situation like bangladesh

Karnataka: Congress MLC Ivan D’Souza made a controversial statement on Monday. He warned Karnataka Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot that if he does not withdraw his order, he will have to flee from Karnataka.

Ivan D’Souza said, ‘If the Governor does not withdraw the order of investigation against CM Siddaramaiah in the Muda scam case or the President does not ask him to withdraw it, then there will be a situation in Karnataka like Bangladesh where the Prime Minister had fled from the country recently.’

Warning of protests

He said, ‘Next time we will go to the Governor’s office and protest. We will do it the same way as the protesters in Bangladesh entered the PM House and Sheikh Hasina had to leave her house, position and country and run away. After this statement of D’Souza, political activity has intensified.

Let us tell you that an activist had requested the Governor to file a complaint against CM Siddaramaiah in the Mysore Urban Development Authority (MUDA) land allotment case. On the basis of the complaint filed by the RTI activist, the Governor has given approval to run a case against CM Siddaramaiah.

However, CM Siddaramaiah has challenged the inquiry order given against him by Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot in the High Court. He filed a writ petition demanding cancellation of the inquiry order. He termed the entire case as politically motivated and insisted on his innocence saying that he has no history of corruption in his 40-year political career.

Let us tell you that the Mysore Urban Development Authority (MUDA) scam case is worth about five thousand crores rupees. There are serious allegations of corruption against Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. It is being told that his wife Parvati had benefited in a scam in Mysore Development Authority (MUDA). The opposition alleges that Siddaramaiah’s wife was given alternative plots in exchange for the acquisition of 3.40 acres of land in a remote area of the city. The market price of that land is more than her own land.
