An alert has been issued in hospitals in Kanpur regarding monkey pox. Arrangements will be made in hospitals regarding monkey pox. People coming and going from Delhi and Mumbai will be monitored.

An alert has been issued in hospitals regarding monkey pox. Although monkey pox has not been confirmed in any patient in the country yet, the Center has issued a guideline after a patient was found in a neighboring country. CMO Dr. Alok Ranjan said that the Center’s guidelines have arrived. Guidelines have been issued in accordance with that. Hospitals have been asked to remain alert. They have been asked to inform the health department if a suspected patient arrives.

CMO Dr. Alok Ranjan said that if a suspected patient comes to hospitals, community and primary health centers, he will be tested. Apart from this, people coming from abroad and cities like Delhi, Mumbai etc. will be monitored. If someone gets fever and rashes appear on the body, he should be tested. Professor of Medicine of GSVM Medical College, Dr. JS Kushwaha said that monkey pox is a viral disease. It spreads through DNA virus. In this, high fever comes first. Then rashes appear. Apart from this, there are more neuro-related problems in it. The patient may get encephalitis. Along with this, seizures like epilepsy can occur. Disability can occur due to negligence.
