John Abraham Reaction On Vedaa Failure: John Abraham has returned to the screen after one and a half year with his film ‘Veda’. Before this, the actor will be seen in the 2023 film ‘Pathan’ Shahrukh Khan John’s film ‘Veda’ was released in theatres on 15 August but the film did not get much response from the audience. Due to clash with ‘Stree 2’ and other films, ‘Veda’ flopped at the box office. In such a situation, John Abraham has talked about the flop of his recently released film.
Talking to Radio City, John Abraham said, ‘This is a bold film. I wanted to work with Nikhil again after Batla House. Honestly, more important than success or failure is the message you are sharing through your film. We have told it in an entertaining way, but the fact cannot be denied that the subject is heavy. And if people are not interested in watching films with heavy subjects, then it is their choice. I respect that. But you have to face the subject in the end.’
‘I am proud that we have made a good film…’
John further said- ‘I am very proud that we made a very good film. This is the best work that Nikhil and I have done together. Often, regret comes when your film does not work commercially, then you feel bad. Usually it arises from uncertainty about the film. But with ‘Veda’, we have done practically everything right.’
‘People complain about the script…’
John Abraham further talked about the stars working in the film. He said- ‘Our actors have performed brilliantly and every department from cinematography to action has performed well. People will find things to complain about the script, and that’s okay. We respect everyone’s point of view, but I am proud that we have made a good film.’
John has worked with Nikhil in Batla House
