A goods train derailed in Gaya, due to which the movement of trains on Gaya-Koderma, Gaya-Kiul railway section got affected. The incident happened between Gaya-Manpur railway station. In this regard, railway workers say that the goods train suddenly derailed near Rasalpur Gumti between Gaya-Manpur station. However, it was fortunate that a major accident was averted. After receiving information about this incident, there was a stir in the railway department.
The cause of the incident is not clear
Regarding the incident, railway workers say that after this goods train left Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Junction on Gaya-Kiul railway section, when it reached near Rasalpur Gumti between Gaya-Manpur station, suddenly the goods train got derailed. As soon as the information of derailment of goods train was received, many officials from Gaya and Dhanbad Railway Division left for the spot. A team of relief workers is also being sent to the spot by accident relief train. It is not yet clear what caused the incident. It is also not known that many coaches of the coal laden goods train have derailed. At the same time, due to the closure of the Gumti, there was a long queue of vehicles on both sides of the road, due to which road traffic has also been disrupted.
