UPSC CSE Mains Candidates Get one lakh rupee after cracking this exam


The Telangana government has decided to provide assistance of Rs 1 lakh each to the youth who pass the UPSC Civil Services Main Examination. Earlier this amount was given only to those who passed the prelims. The Chief Minister said that the government will provide assistance of Rs 1 lakh each to every student who passes the main examination on the lines of the assistance being given to the students who pass the Civil Services Preliminary Examination and those appearing in the Civil Services Main Examination.

The Telangana government has also announced a financial aid of Rs 1 lakh to candidates who pass the UPSC Mains exam. Earlier this financial aid was given only to candidates who passed the prelims exam.

The Chief Minister announced that the government will provide assistance of Rs 1 lakh each to every student who clears the Civil Services Preliminary Examination and the Main Examination on the lines of the assistance being given to students appearing in the Civil Services Main Examination. Cheques of Rs 1 lakh each were distributed to more than 130 youth who qualified for the Civil Services Main Examination this year.

Anand Mahindra will be the chairman

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy said that his government has given 30,000 jobs in 90 days and 35,000 more jobs will be given. The government is setting up ‘Young India Skills University’ to provide skill training to the youth. Anand Mahindra will be the chairman of the new skills university. UPSC conducts the civil services examination every year. Through this examination, officers are selected for the Indian Administrative Service, Indian Foreign Service and other All India Services including the Indian Police Service.

Lakhs of youth appear in the exam

Every year lakhs of youth apply for the civil service examination. The selection process consists of prelims, mains and interview stages. Prelims consists of two papers, the first paper is of general studies and the second paper is of CSAT. Mains consists of nine papers, which include two language papers, four general studies papers, one essay paper and two optional subject papers. The personality and mental ability of the candidate is tested in the interview.
