GATE 2025 Registration Begins Today: Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee has opened the registration link for GATE Exam 2025 from today i.e. Wednesday, 28 August 2024. Till when can I fill the form

The form for GATE exam 2025 can be filled till 26 September 2024. Candidates do not have to pay any late fee till this date. After this, application can be made up to a fixed limit, for which late fee will have to be paid. The last date to apply with late fee is 7 October 2024.

Exam will be held on these dates

GATE 2025 exam will be conducted on 1, 2, 15 and 16 February 2025. Applications have started for this. Every day the exam will be held in two shifts. Also know that eligible candidates can appear in a maximum of two papers of GATE exam.

A good quality candidate photograph meeting the specifications given in the information brochure, Candidate’s signature photo, SC/ST certificate in PDF format if applicable, PWD certificate in PDF format if belonging to any other special category, Valid photo ID like Aadhaar Card, Passport, PAN Card, Voter ID or Driving License.

Also know that the photo ID should be such that it has the candidate’s date of birth and unique identification number. Without this, you may face problems. It would be better to read all the necessary instructions before applying, and then apply only.

how much will the fee be

To apply without late fee, general category candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs 1800. Meanwhile, SC, ST and PWD category candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs 900. If they apply with late fee, general category candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs 2300. Whereas for other categories the fee will be Rs 1400.

Who can fill the form

Candidates with a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university can apply. Along with this, candidates of the third year of a bachelor’s course can also apply. These can be from any field, be it art, science, technology, architecture, engineering, commerce. The rules are slightly different for foreign candidates.
