The health department is considering polluted water supply as one of the reasons for the increase in diarrhea patients. Two innocent children died of diarrhea, 18 are still ill
These days the villagers of Laldih village, located in the Aams block of the district, are troubled by the terror of diarrhea. Two innocent children have died due to diarrhea. At the same time 18 people of the village are still sick. All the sick people are being treated at the Aams Health Center. Three people have recovered during the treatment. Currently 15 people are being treated at the health center. However, the health department is on alert after the news of diarrhea spreading in Laldih village. This is the reason why the health department is visiting the village and meeting the people to get information about the reasons for the spread of diarrhea. At the same time, the team of doctors has expressed the possibility of diarrhea spreading due to stagnant water in the hand pumps and water tanks of the village.
Rural migration forced to leave the village
On the other hand, since last one week, people of Laldih village are scared of the terror of diarrhea. This is the reason that most of the houses in the village of 80 houses are locked. The villagers are forced to migrate due to the outbreak of diarrhea. Civil surgeon of Gaya, Dr. Ranjan Kumar Singh said that the health department is on alert on the information of diarrhea spreading in Laldih village. Team of doctors has reached the village and continuous efforts are being made to know the reasons. During inspection, it is being feared that diarrhea may spread from the contaminated water coming out of the hand pump of the village and water stagnant in the food. The health department will soon bring the situation under control.
