This time in the constable recruitment exam in Agra, Uttar Pradesh, the plans of the solvers were not fulfilled but fake candidates made a lot of inroads. Eight fake candidates were caught in the five-day exam. Most of them had prepared the forms again by tampering with their original documents. STF also caught three cunning fraudsters in Agra who had come to cheat the candidates by trapping them.
The exam was conducted in two shifts at 27 exam centres in the city zone of the commissionerate on Saturday. 8160 candidates appeared for the exam in the first shift. 7814 candidates appeared in the second shift. The exam was conducted on 23, 24 and 25 August in the first phase. In this way, 1,17,600 lakh candidates had registered in five days, out of which 78,687 candidates appeared for the exam.
