PAC force of UP Police will be deployed during the assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir. Apart from this, the Central Election Commission will send 19 IPS officers of the state as observers. 20 companies of PAC will be sent from UP.
This demand has been made by the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF). The in-charge of this team has been Amit Kumar, commander of the 23rd PAC battalion based in Moradabad and Vikas Kumar Vaidya, commander of the 39th battalion based in Mirzapur.
Apart from this, Assistant Commander of different battalions Ajay Kumar Yadav, Jagveer Singh Chauhan, Rajaram Yadav and Rajkumar Singh Yadav are also included. The 20 companies that have been selected include 1946 company commanders, platoon commanders, head constables, constables and fourth class employees from Prayagraj, Fatehpur, Jhansi, Varanasi, Sitapur, Barabanki, Rae Bareli, Gorakhpur, Lucknow, Bareilly, Moradabad, Agra, Etawah and Ghaziabad.
