This is the reason why wolves can guess the smell from very far. Wolves have specific scent glands in different parts of their body. According to research, wolves can smell prey up to 2.5 km (1.5 miles) away. Researchers believe that Indian wolves are capable of detecting prey buried under 3 meters (10 feet) of snow.

Sound of wolves

Indian wolves have four types of sounds. Which includes screaming, growling, whispering and barking. They can scream at a frequency of 180 decibels, which is louder than a rock concert. They are 103 to 145 cm long (ie 41 to 57 inches). This length is from the nose to the tail. The weight of a male wolf is 19 to 25 kg, while the female weighs 17-22 kg.

When do animals become man-eaters

Now many times the question arises that when does any animal become a man-eater. According to the information, it is said that when wolf, tiger and other animals get human blood in their mouth, they become addicted to it. When they get hungry, they start looking for humans instead of their other prey. It is also believed that when these animals do not get prey, they become man-eaters.
