The followers of Hinduism are very few in Brunei. Despite secularism and cultural diversity, the number of Hindus is very low.

  • Shiva Temple (Sri Bhadra Kali Temple): This temple is built in Bandar Seri Begawan, the capital of Brunei. This temple is mainly an important religious place for the people of the local Indian community. Many Hindu festivals and worship rituals are organized in this temple.
  • Ram Mandir (Sri Rama Temple): This temple is also located in Bandar Seri Begawan and is a very important place for Hindu religious activities. Special pujas and festivals are also organized in this temple, which are important for the Hindu community.
    Apart from these temples, there are no other religious places for the followers of Hinduism in Brunei.

If we look at the religious scenario in Brunei, all other religions are respected, but the number of Hindu temples is very less. Hindu religious activities and cultural events are mainly organized by the Indian community.
