Yash Johar Birth Anniversary: Today, Friday, is the 95th birth anniversary of the late filmmaker Yash Johar. On this occasion, many fans and celebs are remembering him. The filmmaker’s son and Bollywood’s top director-producer Karan Johar also looked very emotional on his father’s birth anniversary and remembered his “papa” in a heart-touching post on Instagram.

Karan Johar has shared some pictures of his childhood days on the birth anniversary of his late father Yash Johar. In one photo, Karan looks very young and is seen kissing his father Yash on the cheek. The second picture is of Karan’s young days in which father and son are seen smiling together. While sharing these pictures, Karan wrote a heart touching caption.

Karan wrote, “On my Papa’s birthday, here are some stolen memories to share today. 1. A quick moment of family hugging… something you can find in abundance in my family, thanks to them 2. My 30th birthday!!! I directed my own film and it released worldwide… and I think my dad was proud of it 3. Like I said… a lot!!! 4. A moment shared with him on stage… marked in my memory!”

Karan further wrote, “I miss you every day Papa, thank you for being the brightest guiding light for me ever.”


Yash Johar died of cancer
Let us tell you that Yash Johar started his career as a publicist and still photographer in the early 1950s and worked on the 1951 film “Badal”. It was in 1976 when he launched the banner of Dharma Productions. He made films like “Dostana,” “Duniya,” “Agneepath,” “Gumrah,” “Duplicate,” “Kuch Kuch Hota Hai,” “Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham.” Shahrukh KhanPreity Zinta and Saif Ali Khan starrer film “Kal Ho Na” was his last project. The filmmaker died on 26 June 2004 due to cancer.
