Prime Minister Narendra Modi While interacting with the teachers honoured with the National Teacher Award on the occasion of Teachers’ Day, he emphasised on their important responsibility of preparing the youth of the country for building a developed India. During this, he also discussed the positive impact of the New Education Policy (NEP) and gave many suggestions to make the role of teachers more effective.
PM Modi suggested teachers to introduce students to different languages through local folk songs, so that children can develop interest in linguistic diversity. Along with this, he urged teachers to organize educational trips to make students familiar with India’s cultural diversity and history.
The Prime Minister said that the contribution of teachers is extremely important in building the future of the country and the new education policy is a strong effort in that direction. President Draupadi Murmu had honored 82 teachers. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while interacting with teachers on the occasion of Teachers’ Day, once again emphasized the importance of smoothly implementing the new education policy. He said that it is very important for teachers to establish simple and easy communication with students, boost their morale and inspire them in difficult situations.
