In this assault, three people including a woman from the victim family were injured. All the injured are being treated at the referral hospital Raghopur. According to information, after the robbery, the criminals fired four rounds of bullets while fleeing. The video of this incident has been captured in CCTV. The injured include Md. Ejub (70), Gulesa Khatun (50) and Md. Israel (50).

Injured Mohammad Ejub said that last night around 12 o’clock 20 to 25 criminals knocked on the door of his house. After that the women of the house thought that some guest has come. They opened the door. As soon as the door was opened, all the armed criminals forcibly entered the house. Then they threatened that if you love your life and honor then do as I say, otherwise I will shoot you. The criminals tore the sarees of all the women of the house one by one and tied them with it.

He told that when Gulesha Khatun protested, they snatched a gold nose ring worth two annas from her and beat her and injured her. When the head of the house Mohammed Ejub and Mohammed Israel protested, they both were brutally beaten and injured. He told that the criminals looted about five kg of gold and silver jewellery from the house. It is alleged that they ran away after looting after about half an hour. After committing the crime, while running away, the criminals fired four rounds in the air outside the house.

Here, Raghopur police station in-charge Naveen Kumar said that a case of robbery and assault by unknown criminals in a house late on Monday night has come to light. Action is being taken after investigation in the case. At the same time, the criminals are also being identified on the basis of CCTV footage.
