PM Kisan Nidhi 18th Installment Release Soon Farmers Must do Ekyc and land verification immediately

PM Kisan Nidhi 18th Installment: The beneficiaries of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana), which contributes to the economic prosperity of farmers, are now eagerly waiting for the 18th installment. The central government has announced to provide financial assistance of Rs 6000 annually to the farmers under this scheme, so that they can meet their farming related needs and become financially empowered.

So far, the government has transferred 17 installments to the accounts of farmers. The 18th installment can also be announced next month. But this time farmers will have to follow some new instructions. The government has made eKYC and land verification mandatory for the benefits of this scheme. Farmers who have not completed these necessary procedures will not get the amount of Rs 2000 of the 18th installment.

Simple way of e-KYC

The process of e-KYC has now become very easy. ‘Face Authentication Feature’ is available in the PM Kisan Mobile App launched by the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare. With the help of this feature, farmers can now do e-KYC by scanning their face without OTP or fingerprint while sitting at home. This method is very convenient especially for farmers in remote areas.

Apart from this, farmers can also get biometric KYC done by visiting their nearest Common Service Centers (CSCs). If the farmer himself completes the e-KYC process through OTP, then it is free, whereas some fee may have to be paid if KYC is done by visiting the Common Service Center.
