Jaya used to behave badly
Amar Singh had told in the interview that Jaya used to behave very badly with her in-laws and Amitabh could not even say anything to them. Amitabh was so upset with Jaya’s behavior that he bought a separate house for her where Jaya used to live with the children and he himself used to live with his parents.
Jaya was scolded
Jaya Bachchan once joked with her father-in-law Harivansh Rai Bachchan due to which she got scolded. According to Koimoi’s report, Amitabh had said on his father’s 80th birthday that we celebrated when you turned 60. Then it came out – Jab Saatha Tab Paatha. Now Harivansh Rai Bachchan said – Assi To Lapsi. After this Jaya said – ‘What do you say when you turn 100? When you turn 100, you will not be able to speak, we will speak.’ Jaya’s mother-in-law felt bad about this. She scolded her and said – ‘Why won’t you speak, you will speak a lot.’ After this Jaya Bachchan became silent.
