health tips delhi govt provide cashless treatment to acid attack survivors

Acid Attack Survivors Cashless Treatment: Acid attack survivors will get cashless treatment in Delhi. The Delhi government may soon bring a policy for this facility in the private hospitals of the city. Delhi Minister Saurabh Bhardwaj has directed the Health and Family Welfare Department to make a plan regarding this. Funds have been given from Delhi Arogya Kosh to cover all the expenses during the treatment of acid attack survivors, which includes all types of surgeries, big and small.

What is the plan of Delhi government

This decision came after Brave Souls Foundation, an NGO working for acid attack survivors, met Saurabh Bhardwaj along with AAP Rajya Sabha member Sanjay Singh. However, in 2015, the Supreme Court had made it mandatory for all private hospitals across the country to provide free treatment to acid attack victims.
