Something similar happened in the neighboring country China. Here, on Teachers’ Day, a very bad incident happened with the principal of a nursery school. According to the report of South China Morning Post, a strange incident happened in Sanxia Kindergarten School in Chongqing, China. Principal Wang here was given a box of chocolates by a child on Teachers’ Day last year. She accepted the child’s gift and also hugged and loved him. Later she shared the chocolate with other children. Although this incident may seem cute to you, but after this she got the information that she has been expelled for accepting the gift from the child.

How did you take the gift being a teacher?
The school claimed that Wang had violated the rules of China’s Ministry of Education because teachers cannot accept any kind of gift from their students or their parents. When Wang took the matter to court, she got justice. The court accepted that her expulsion was illegal and she should be compensated for it. The chocolate was given out of love and cannot be considered a gift. This matter also trended on social media but the school appealed against the decision in the higher court, which has been heard twice.
