Police have arrested five accused in the case of shooting and killing hotel-gym owner and financier Nadir Shah outside a gym in Greater Kailash-1, a posh area of South Delhi. The arrested accused have been identified as Nitlesh Tiwari, Vishal Verma, Akash Yadav, Naveen Baliyan and Sajid. All of them were produced in the court, from where they were sent on 10-day police remand. Police will investigate by interrogating them.
In fact, Nadir’s partner Kunal Chhabra had refused to pay extortion money of Rs 5 crore to Lawrence gang. All this happened because of Nadir’s access to the police. Nadir had refused to pay extortion money to Kunal. Nadir also talked to Lawrence about this, but he did not agree. On the contrary, the extortion amount was increased to Rs 10 crore. On Lawrence’s instructions, his brother Anmol Bishnoi and Rohit Godara, who are in Canada, hatched a conspiracy to murder. Randeep, who is in America, and gangster Hashim Baba of North-East Delhi were involved in Nadir’s murder. Randeep and Hashim Baba’s shooters carried out the crime on Thursday.
Police sources say that Nitlesh Tiwari, Vishal Verma and Akash Yadav are residents of Azamgarh. All three are Randeep’s shooters, the fourth accused Naveen is a resident of Sonipat. Sajid is a local of Delhi. However, the main shooter who fired the bullet is still away from the police custody. Special cell teams are searching for him.
