A five year old boy died a painful death on the spot after being hit by a Toto rickshaw near the women’s college in the city police station area of Vaishali. The deceased is Rakesh Kumar, the five-year-old son of Sanjay Malik, a resident of Kranti Chowk Kaun Hara Road in Kishore Nagar police station area, who was the eldest of two brothers. He was playing at the door of his house when a speeding Toto rickshaw hit him and he died on the spot. Although the local people tried to catch the Toto driver after the incident, he managed to escape from the spot and the e-rickshaw was caught by the people.
People took to the streets demanding compensation
Here, as soon as the information of the incident was received, the police officer of the city police station reached the spot and tried to pacify the angry people by convincing them. People say that they will continue protesting until the victim’s family gets compensation. Angry people are demanding strict action against the accused e-rickshaw driver.
