How to avoid this scam?

First of all, when you receive such a message, do not react to it immediately. Find out if anyone in your house has ordered anything for you or if someone has ordered something in your name. If you have not ordered anything and no one in your house has ordered anything, then ignore this message.

If a scammer calls you and says that there is a parcel in your name, you should still refuse and say that you don’t want to take the parcel. But if he repeatedly asks you to take the parcel, then you should complain to the cyber cell of that number. And while clicking on the link, keep in mind that the link in the message is not of the official website of India Post. So don’t click on the link even by mistake.
