Pitru Paksha Mela has started from 17th September in Lord Vishnu’s city Moksha Dham Gayaji. It will end on 2nd October. On this occasion, lakhs of Hindu Sanatan Dharma followers from all over the world come to Gaya Dham for salvation and upliftment of their ancestors and perform Pinddaan, Tarpan and Shradh rituals on various Pindvedis. This year, during the fair, on 26th September, Sarkar Pandit Dhirendra Shastri of Bageshwar Dham will reach Gaya Dham. Where Pandit Dhirendra Shastri will perform Pinddaan for the ancestors of his devotees.
Baba will also visit Vishnupad temple
According to the information received, his meeting will be organized at Sambodhi Resort in Bodh Gaya. Where he will perform Pind Daan for his special devotees as per the rituals. He will also narrate Bhagwat Katha. In this regard, Pandit Dhirendra Shastri’s Tirth Purohit Gajadhar Lal Katiyar in Gaya said that he will perform Pind Daan for his devotees after taking permission from us. Pind Daan and Tarpan will be performed on various Pind Vedis. After performing Shraddha rituals, he will visit the sanctum sanctorum of Vishnupad Temple.

Last year too, during the Pitru Paksha fair, Pandit Dhirendra Shastri had reached Gaya with his devotees. Where Pinddaan was performed at the Sambodhi Resort in Bodh Gaya. During this time, he had said that he would hold a court in the Pitru Paksha fair. But, this time too, the court will not be held.
