Vijayta Pandit News: Actress Vijayta Pandit talked about her relationship with Kumar Gaurav. Vijayta made many revelations and told that Kumar Gaurav had sworn that he would marry only me. Then don’t know what happened, he broke his engagement with Raj Kapoor’s daughter and married Namrata Dutt.
‘Kumar Gaurav was the first boy to touch me’
In a conversation with Laharen Retro, Vijayta said that Kumar Gaurav was the first boy who touched her. Vijayta said- ‘Bunty (Kumar Gaurav) was the first boy whom I hugged during the shoot of Love Story. You can watch any love story, whether it is Bobby’s Rishi Kapoor-Dimple Kapadia’s or Betaab’s Sunny Deol and Amrita Singh’s, Rocky’s Sanjay Dutt and Tina Munim’s, all these actors fell in love in real life. One should get immersed in such films, one should feel the romance. This was the first time a boy touched me. That’s why we both fell in love. Bunty loved me a lot. He used to follow me, hold my hand and dance. He was a charming boy.’
Rajendra Kumar was against the relationship
Further she said that Kumar Gaurav’s father was against our relationship. Vijayta told, ‘Kumar Gaurav’s father and film producer Rajendra Kumar was very angry about our relationship. He used to drink alcohol and tell Bunty that he is his prince and he should marry the princess. He used to say that he will find a girl for Kumar Gaurav who comes from a reputed family. When I used to hear all this, I used to get scared. But Bunty used to answer this and say that he loves me. They used to drink together and argue. I used to try to get away from this situation.’
When Kumar Gaurav got engaged to Reema
Further she said- ‘When Rajendra Kumar saw that his son was madly in love with me, he and Raj Kapoor planned to get Kumar Gaurav and Reema engaged. Even I attended the ceremony. I saw the big diamond ring that Reema had put on him. I told Kumar Gaurav that it was very beautiful. So he got angry and said- If you don’t like it, I will throw it away. Thinking that he is going mad, I ran away from there.’
‘Even after the engagement, Bunty would come to my house and I never went to his house. My parents were scared and angry. They said that they would talk to Rajendra Kumar that his son should not come to our house because he is engaged and will soon be married to someone. Even after the engagement, Bunty told my mother that he would marry only me. Then I don’t know what happened. I came to know that he was having an affair with Namrata Dutt. He broke the engagement with Reema and I had no involvement in this.’
