17 types of honey are produced here
Jyoti Gram Udyog Sansthan of Saharanpur is producing 17 varieties of honey. The chairman of the institute, Ajay Saini, says that since childhood he had a passion to do something different. That is why he decided to do beekeeping and he has been doing beekeeping since 1990. He started it with 2 boxes of bees, which today number in thousands.

Ajay Saini has trained more than 22 thousand people in various schemes of the central and state government. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also tasted and praised Ajay Saini’s honey. People from the state as well as other states of the country also like the taste of this honey.
There is demand for this honey in foreign countries
While talking to Local 18, Ajay Saini, chairman of Jyoti Gram Udyog Sansthan, said that he started beekeeping in 1990. After which he is packing honey and exporting it to foreign countries. In 2023, Ajay Saini has received an order of 44 thousand kg of honey and 10 thousand kg of wax from Australia. Out of which 20 thousand kg of honey has been sent and 24 thousand kg of honey will be sent soon.

Ajay Saini prepares 17 types of honey including Multifloral Honey, Litchi Honey, Tulsi Honey, Rosewood Honey, Cedar Honey, Celery Honey, Fennel Honey, Sunflower Honey, Coriander Honey, Clover Honey, Sweet Neem Honey, Acacia Honey, Eucalyptus Honey, Creamy Mustard Honey etc. Talking about the price, honey is available from Rs 500 to Rs 35 thousand.
Have been honored in honey production
At the same time, Ajay Saini said that most of the honey is being supplied abroad to Australia, Nepal and will soon be sent to America and the Middle East. Ajay Kumar Saini has been honored many times on a large scale for honey production.
