These are 2 secret things
The two super ingredients for making crispy puris are sugar and semolina. Let’s know the recipe for making these puris.

step 1

First of all you have to knead the dough for the puris, add sugar and some semolina to the dough. After this, add salt and carom seeds as well. Remember, the dough for the puris has to be kneaded well. The tighter the dough, the fluffier the puris will be.

Step-2

After kneading the dough, leave it to rest for at least half an hour. Now heat oil in a pan. Puris are deep fried, so take enough oil in the pan so that the puris can be immersed in it.

Step-3

The oil is heated on low flame, so leave the oil to heat in the pan beforehand. If you fry the puris in oil heated on high flame, they get cooked burnt and the dough remains uncooked from inside.

Step-4

To check whether the oil is hot or not, make a small ball of dough and put it in the oil, if it floats to the top then understand that the oil is hot and now puris can be made in it.

Step-5

Never add all the rolled out puris at once. Add one rolled out puri, when it cooks a little, add another rolled out puri and strain it. Cook all the puris on low flame till they turn golden brown on both sides.
