Taiwanese police reached the office of Gold Apollo company only after this information came to light.
Giving information to the media, the company’s founder Hsu Ching-Kuang said that the company did not make the pagers that were used in the explosions in Lebanon on Tuesday. He further said that these pagers were made by a European company, which has the right to use the company’s brand name.
The subcontract was given to BAC Consulting KFT
Gold Apollo said in its statement that the company had given the sub-contract of making pagers of this model to the European company BAC Consulting KFT. Its components have been procured from a third party. The company’s owner Hsu Ching-Kuang said that not only Hezbollah but we have also been the victims of this attack. We are a responsible company and this is shameful for us.
He said that the AR-924 pager was manufactured by BAC Consulting KFT, which is located in Budapest. Let us tell you that Hezbollah fighters started using pagers to avoid Israel’s eyes, but Israel used this technology against them.
Know how the Taiwanese company was accused
News agency Reuters had analyzed the photos of the pagers that were torn in the explosion. Stickers of the Gold Apollo company were visible in these photos. Apart from this, a senior Lebanese security source told Reuters that Hezbollah had ordered 5,000 pagers from Taiwan-based Gold Apollo.
