A government school teacher has died a painful death due to electric shock in Begusarai. After the death, there was chaos among the family members. The incident took place in Ramdiri Nakati Tola Ward No. 8 of Matihani police station area. The deceased teacher has been identified as Rajesh Kumar Singh, son of Hareram Singh, resident of Ramdiri Nakati Tola Ward No. 8. As soon as the news of the death was received, there was chaos among all the teachers of the school.
Death due to electric shock during Shraddha ceremony
Regarding the incident, the family members have told that flood water has entered the village for the last several days. They told that their uncle had died. The feast of the shraddha ceremony was going on in the house. The electric wire had broken and fallen in the water. After the water entered the house, he was moving the household items from here to there. As soon as he got into the water, he got caught in the current, due to which teacher Rajesh Kumar died a painful death. After the death, there was an atmosphere of chaos on the spot. The family members rushed him to the hospital, where the doctor declared him dead. Then the villagers informed the police of Matihani police station about the incident. On receiving the information, the police of Matihani police station reached and sent the body to Begusarai Sadar Hospital for postmortem and started further action.

Family members said that Rajesh Kumar was posted as a teacher in Upkramit Madhya Vidyalaya Hardiya Dandari. Regarding the incident, Matihani police station chief said that Ramdiri Nakati Tola is a flood-affected area. His uncle had died. At night he was lifting a sack and placing it at a higher place. During this, the teacher died due to electric shock, at present the police is busy investigating the whole matter.
