India Today has quoted Nadeem Mandviwal, the producer who distributes ‘The Legend of Maula Jatt’ in Pakistan, as saying that the film will be released in only one state in India, Punjab. It will not be released across the country. Producer Nadeem also confirmed to India Today that if the film gets a good response in Punjab, then it can be considered for release in the South as well.
The producer has high hopes from the film
Nadeem also said that he hopes the film will do well as it is not available on any OTT platform. He further said that it may take some time as the film is being released after 2 years, so there is no such excitement. But the film can benefit from positive word of mouth.
The film is a remake of the 1979 film Maula Jatt
Let us tell you that this film is a remake of the 1979 Pakistani film Maula Jatt. Fawad Khan is seen in the role of Maula Jatt in the film. Directed by Bilal Lashari, the story of this film is based on revenge, in which the character of Maula Jatt wants to take revenge from a character named Noori Nat.
