Sultanpur Encounter: The political temperature is rising on the Sultanpur encounter. Calling the acts of establishing political dominance and empire of fear as law and order is an insult to the Constitution.’Priyanka Gandhi wrote, ‘Law and order rests on the foundation of establishing peace in the society, punishing the criminal for reform and giving every citizen a chance to live. Barring exceptions, every life taken without a court order is nothing but murder. According to the data in the news, has the law and order of the state improved due to the nearly 13,000 encounters in UP in the last seven years? Crimes are not stopping. Then what is the purpose of this? Why is this game being played? This unconstitutional work should stop and all the encounters that are under question and suspicion should be judicially investigated.’

Akhilesh Yadav also targeted

Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav said on the action of UP STF in Sultanpur robbery case, ‘The weakest people consider encounter as their strength. Any fake encounter is injustice.’ Akhilesh Yadav wrote on social media platform X, ‘It is a big conspiracy for the future to tarnish the image of Uttar Pradesh with violence and blood. Today’s rulers know that they will never come back in future, so before leaving they want to create such a situation in Uttar Pradesh that no one invests here. Mangesh Yadav and Anuj Pratap Singh Dheer

UP STF killed Mangesh Yadav and Anuj Pratap Singh in an encounter in the robbery case at a bullion trader’s shop. Anuj had a reward of Rs 1 lakh on his head. He was absconding since the robbery. The police was searching for him for several days. The STF traced his location in Achalganj, Unnao and killed him in an encounter. Anuj Pratap Singh was a resident of Amethi. He is said to be the mastermind of the Sultanpur robbery case, he is said to be the closest henchman of the main accused of the incident, Vipin Singh. Vipin is also a resident of Amethi. Vipin has surrendered before the police.

Along with Vipin, Anuj Pratap Singh was also involved in the Gujarat robbery case. Two cases are registered against Anuj who was killed in the encounter. One of these cases is registered in Sultanpur and the other in Gujarat. Let us tell you that Anuj was the first to enter the jewellery shop. Anuj threatened the shopkeeper Bharat Soni and his son sitting in the showroom with a pistol. After this, in a blink of an eye, other accused entered the shop and took all the goods with them and left on a bike. A total of 14 criminals were involved in this robbery case. 11 of them have been caught, while three are still absconding. There is a reward of one lakh rupees on Furkan, Arbaaz and Ankit Yadav who are absconding.
