When both of them realized their love, the minor girl ran away with her lover from Uttar Pradesh to Bihar. After this, Uttar Pradesh police also reached Bihar while searching for the girl.
The case has come to light in Jhajha of Jamui district, where the police of Fatehpur district of Uttar Pradesh recovered a minor girl. It is said that while taking action in Karhara village of Jhajha police station area, the police recovered the minor girl from a house.
They became friends on Facebook, she ran away to Bihar
A minor girl from Kalyanpur police station area of Fatehpur district of Uttar Pradesh had fled from her house on 21st May. Sub Inspector Manoj Kumar, who was leading the police team from UP, said that the girl had befriended Vikas Kumar, a resident of Ghutiya village of Jhajha police station area of Jamui district, on Facebook. Gradually, both of them started talking and the friendship turned into love. After this, Vikas reached Fatehpur one day and kidnapped the minor girl and brought her with him. Since then, the minor girl was living with Vikas at his house. Here, after the minor girl went missing, her father had lodged a named case against Vikas Kumar in Kalyanpur police station.
UP police took the minor with them
Sub Inspector Manoj Kumar said that after the FIR of kidnapping was registered against the youth, the police was continuously engaged in action to recover the boy at its level. Technical surveillance revealed that he was in Karhara Ghutiya of Jhajha police station area, after which a team was formed and that team reached the boy’s house and recovered the minor safely. However, during this time her lover could not be caught by the police. It is said that he left the girl at home and went to Kerala to earn money and lives there. Meanwhile, the police team from UP has taken the minor with them to UP after completing the paperwork, where he will be produced in the court.
